Jason has over 20 years of teaching experience, including over 10 years of teaching webinars. If you want the best Canadian tax webinars at affordable prices then JasonFlemingTax is for you.
What happens after I buy a webinar?
After you buy a webinar you will get access, in your Kajabi Library, for 6 months. This means you can watch the video anytime, or re-watch it, at your convenience (for 6 months). After you watch the video, you will do a short multiple choice quiz (which you can re-take, if needed). After passing the quiz, you will be provided with a certificate confirming your verifiable continuing professional development (CPD) hours. You can download a copy of the slides in Adobe if you want. All webinars have closed captioning (which you can turn on or off).
What is Kajabi?
Kajabi is a platform with a learning management system. Kajabi's platform will securely accept payments, keep the webinar(s) in your Library, play the webinar videos and keep track of your progress. You will need to log in with Kajabi to access this platform.
When will the webinars be updated?
The webinars will be updated yearly. The date the webinar was recorded is provided, hence approximately one year after that date.
Is my information and data secure?
Yes. JasonFlemingTax will always keep your information and data confidential. JasonFlemingTax does not use any tags or tracking. JasonFlemingTax will not send you promotional emails. The quality of our webinars speak for themselves.
Can I deduct the cost of your webinars on my tax return?
Yes, if you are earning business income or if you are a commissioned employee and the webinar relates to your employment. If your employer pays for your webinar, or fully reimburses you for the cost, then they will claim the deduction.
Is JasonFlemingTax a certified educational institution under the Income Tax Act? Can I claim the tuition tax credit for the cost of your webinars?
Yes, JasonFlemingTax is a certified educational institution as per the Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Official Languages. Yes, fees paid can be claimed as eligible tuition fees for an income tax credit (as long as the fees exceed $100, you are at least 16-years-old, and the webinar relates to your work or profession). If you (or your employer) deduct the fees paid, see question above, then you cannot also claim a tax credit for the same amount.
Can I claim the refundable Canada Training Credit for the cost of your webinars?
Yes, up to 50% of your eligible tuition fees paid in the year, see question above, can be claimed as a Canada Training Credit when you file your personal income tax return. Note: you must have accumulated this credit, i.e., Canada Training Credit limit, which is reported to you each year by the Canada Revenue Agency (on your Notice of Assessment), in order to claim this credit.
Do I need a T2202 to claim the tuition credit on my tax return?
You need either a T2202 or an official receipt with specified information to claim the tuition credit. JasonFlemingTax will issue you an official receipt, with all the required specified information, that you can use to claim this credit (see questions above).
Does JasonFlemingTax have coupons or sales?
Instead of offering coupons or sales, JasonFlemingTax has low prices at all times. Given the surprisingly significant costs involved in running an online webinar business our prices are already as low as possible.
Why don't you allow refunds?
After you purchase a webinar you will have full access to a high-quality product that required dozens of hours to create. Accordingly, we do not allow any refunds or exchanges. Please ensure you buy the correct webinar before you finalize your purchase.
